A-430 never existed, except on paper. A-20 was first planned to run through downtown Montréal (what is now A-720)
and would have connected its actual routing via L-H-Lafontaine Tunnel-Bridge, instead of on the South Shore.
A-430 would have run from A-30 in Candiac up to Sainte-Julie, but has been built up to Boucherville only, bearing A-20
(temporary) designation. R-132 freeway is now what would have been A-430 and the expressway section that bypasses Boucherville
is a rerouting, after A-430 was cancelled.
